Because of our new meeting format you must send your photos to me by Wednesday night or bring them to the meeting before the
6:45 deadline. No exceptions
Our meetings will be starting on time this year

Send your images to me by Wednesday night or you may bring them to the meeting. Please bring only 2 images. Theme related or your best images from the past month are acceptable

Remember to size your files no larger than 1024x768 at 100ppi and they should have your name in the beginning example of your files could be
(Jim-Swallow-flip-flop-6-11a.jpg)

It helps tremendously by having all your images together at the end of the year by you using the same method each and every month. Thanks

This workshop will be the first in a series of Lightroom classes that will help you use Lightroom to it’s fullest. Adobe Lightroom is the best tool for the photographer today. If you don’t have it you will be getting it sometime in the future. The first class will discuss the Library Module and the parts of the Develop Module. This program is going to change the way you work with your images. Minimum of 4 students required to hold the class

Sunday, September 18 at 3:00 p.m. at the museum - lecture by MK Foltz, professor of photography and digital imaging at the Ringling College of Art ad Design in Sarasota, on Duane Michals: His Influence on the Staged and Sequenced Photographic Tradition.   Admission to the lecture is free; museum admission is $6 for non-members.

The Hillsborough River: From the Green Swamp to the Bay Works by Karen Glaser
July 2 - October 16, 2011
In 2010, the City of Tampa selected Karen Glaser as its Photographer Laureate. Glaser’s project was to pay tribute to the diversity and complexity of the Hillsborough River. Since the 1990s, Glaser has chronicled the ecosystems and in particular its freshwater springs, rivers, and swamps of Florida. According to the artist, “the State of Florida has a truly interesting history and a remarkable cultural and natural heritage. It is home to some of the most unique natural areas in the world, and the tie that binds all in this most diverse state is water
